Java Software Developer

We are in need of software engineers to help design and implement J2EE applications. We are seeking engineers with both thick client and JSP/Servlet experience. The developers will:
o Review use cases, draft screen layouts, architecture, design patterns, and database mapping documents to develop a detailed software requirements specification
o Create and document detailed design for software components
o Design, document, and code unit test procedures to validate the software components developed.
o Develop Java classes to implement the software components.
o Execute the unit test procedures to verify that the software components operate per the design.
o Integrate components into the system and debug as necessary

Job Requirements
TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:o Java, J2EE, EJB, JSP/Servlet, Struts, XML, XSLT, JDBC
o Multi-threading experience
o UML to document software design.
o Experience using design patterns
o Strong verbal and written communication skills
o A focus on quality and an attention to detail
o A team player
TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE DESIRED:
o JBoss, WebSphere, Weblogic, Tomcat
o Java Development Environments such as JBuilder, JDeveloper, Eclipse
o SQL experience interfacing with SQL Server and Oracle
o Function Point Analysis
o Previous experience in a test-driven development environment.
o Visual Source Safe, JUnit, and Ant
