Administrative Assistant - Long Beach

Responsible for providing analytical and specialized administrative support to relieve and assist executive, administrative, line and staff managers of complex and advanced administrative duties.
Executes special or continuous research and data analysis tasks. Analyzes problems, determines approach, complies and analyzes data and prepares reports, graphs and presentations using spreadsheet and graphic software. Coordinates activities between departments and outside parties. Contacts company personnel at all organizational levels to gather information and prepare reports. Work is generally of a critical or confidential nature. Acts as an informatin source on organizational policies and procedures. Makes appointments and travel arrangements. May assist i establishing office policies and procedures, and coordination of special projects and department activities. Operates automated office equipment, screens phone calls and takes messages. Setup and maintenance of filing system, and prepare, sort and distribute mail.

Job Requirements

5 years plus experience in an administrative capacity.
Ability to support multiple managers.
Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Outlook, and Internet.
Secretarial experience to include typing, reading, writing and basic arithmetic skills.
Completion of high school, vocational training, or equivalent is preferred.
Real estate/construction background desired.
