Hard-working, positive-minded individuals are encouraged to apply for volunteer positions at Odiyan Buddhist Retreat Center located in the hills of Northern California overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Housing, vegetarian meals, modest monthly living allowance and skills training are provided. Join our community for 6 months or more to help complete the construction of a unique 13 story temple. Learn construction, metal-working and landscaping skills in an uplifting community setting. Live in comfortable housing on gorgeous 1000 acre natural sanctuary with several existing temples, traditional Tibetan art, abundant wildlife, forested hills and ocean views. There is no need to be Buddhist or have any specific religious affiliation to participate.
